Is How You Play
Our Family Game.
Our Family Game takes up to six players at a time. There are 300 researched
trivia questions on History, Entertainment, Politics, Art, Sports,
and Business. The object of the game is to answer questions correctly
and move up the board to the top of the triangle.
Each player rolls the dice and proceeds to answer a question. If they
get it wrong, the next person takes his or her turn.
On the board there are 5 Luck Card spaces that advance you up several
spaces or turn you back several spaces. Each one of the Luck Cards
describes real world situations too. For example, "your mother
spies on you dressing in her clothes, and comes into the room to talk
with you about it - move forward 6 spaces." The purpose of the
Luck Cards is to showcase positive behavior towards the LGBT community.
The Luck Cards also showcase examples of negative behaviors which
might need to be rethought by moving your game piece back spaces (Bad
Luck).
The first person to reach the top of the board wins the game. The
game is set up so that players can answer all the questions or pick
a category to play; they may decide to choose history and play only
history questions. The game also has six different colors matching
each level of the board. Upon each person passing a particular Rainbow
level, he or she will receive one of the Rainbow Cards to show that
he or she has passed this level. Players may choose to use them or
not.
The game can take from 30 minutes to one hour to play depending on
the amount of players. |
